SMS Terms

1. What these terms cover

These SMS Terms apply to text messages sent by Kapu Svētki .Com. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Messages we send

• Account and security notices, such as sign-in verification and account changes.
• Service notices about your memoir, such as publishing or renewal reminders.
• Scheduled future messages that you have chosen to send to recipients you nominated, delivered on the dates you set.

We do not send marketing text messages, and we never sell or rent phone numbers.

3. Opting in

You opt in by entering your mobile number in your Kapu Svētki account and choosing SMS as a delivery channel. When you enter someone else's number as a recipient of a scheduled message, you confirm you have their permission to have Kapu Svētki text them on your behalf.

4. Stopping messages

Reply STOP to any message to stop all further texts to that number. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us through the Support page. You can also remove or change your number at any time in your account settings. Opting out of SMS does not delete your account or stop email notices.

5. Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies and depends on your account activity and the future messages you schedule. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Kapu Svētki does not charge you separately for text messages.

6. Delivery and carriers

Messages are delivered through third-party messaging providers and mobile carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers and countries can change without notice.

7. Privacy

Phone numbers and message content are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Numbers are shared only with the messaging providers needed to deliver your texts.

8. Changes

We may update these SMS Terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed, and continued use of SMS after an update means you accept the revised terms.
